His and Hers daisho from Swords of Northshire. Not exactly where I'd go for a sword, but when the wife drives a purchase, I'm not complaining!

Can't see your pictures.... Is anyone else having the same problem?

No clue why you can't see, but here's the picture of the daisho.

Alientude, I also could not see your first picture. Second picture shows up fine, though. I like the look of the tsuka! Is that white ito, or is it the lighting that makes it look that way? How do the blades look?
Eric, very unique and nice looking tomahawks there.
Congrats on the cool buys!

Yes, it is a white ito. I really like the look of white on black there, and since I don't plan on using this one very often, the white should stay nice and clean. The blades look fine, for what they are. They're through-hardened with a wire-brushed suguha hamon, and seem decent enough for the price. I'll get a review of them up at some point.

I'm guessing that is an older example of Albion's Fiore longsword. What do you think of its handling, balance, and point control?

I'm guessing that is an older example of Albion's Fiore longsword. What do you think of its handling, balance, and point control? The handling seems OK, but Holger says the "Ringeck"(?) he once owned should have had the same blade and he remembers it to be lighter. Tha blade is very thick at the guard - 9 mm! KOA has it at 8,3 mm, so...

My customized Albion Talhofer, which might be the same blade as the Ringeck and Fiore (XVa), is right around 9mm thick at the crossguard.

Its getting brighter; guys Pellius and Zen Hydra showed almost identical makers marks on several Albions, one of it ordered via Albion directly. PHEW!!!
