Very nice work! Looks so much better now with a leather grip cover and dumping that flabby leather bit on the ricasso and the El Cheapo turks head. May I ask what you used to blacken the hilt? It looks impeccable. Very well done.
Cheers.

That Perma Paste stuff, by the looks of the results, does a far better job of it than the regular bluing agents. Will get me some. Thanks for the info.
Cheers.

Very nice. Is that blackening stuff so shiny or did you treat it with something? Never seen blue as good as this.
What about the Darkwood Armory Custom Gothic English Rapier you show in the next clip? That one looks very good too.

Thanks for the link. I missed that one it seems.
Also, your trainer reminds me of certain implements used by offended staff of the better boarding schools to dicipline their unruly snot nosed wards. Ah, those golden days of youth, now long gone: ,, Ah didn't do nuffing, 'onest Mater M'am''. But that must be just a coincidence.
Cheers.

Apologies for the camera angle Wow that bluing is amazing. My club (Phoenix Society) just placed a massive Kvetun sabre order, I am tempted to blue my hilt using ytour method and maybe even the blade just to preserve it a bit longer. Of course, with our logo being an eagle with crossed swords and a blued guard, it might begin to look like a Francoist Spanish 1905 pattern Cavalry Sabre LOL

Outstanding!! That is as good, if not better, than I have seen on some very high-end rifles. That is a beautiful sword.
