i love the width of that blade,but that li'l ole tang with a nut on it dosent look safe to me, but i bet it looks great on a wall. thanx for the review.

The tang itself seems adequate. The threaded portion under the pommel is something I'm going to have to watch. The fact that the sword works best two-handed and that the off hand holds onto the pommel puts a lot of stress on those threads. Truthfully, I'd like to see them move up to 5/16"-18 threads like Windlass, as opposed to their current 1/4"-20. Having said that, the threads held up fine during my abusive hacking of particle board, so it may not be as much of an issue as might be imagined. Like I said, I'll keep an eye on that part of the sword in the future and see how it holds up to prolonged use.
