How about a monthly raffle.1 sword from the store,$1.00 per chance.I for 1 would pay a buck a month for a shot at a nice sword.Revenues from this should cover the initial cost of the sword & turn a profit.

User supported boards work, as well as membership levels from free to whatever based on levels of what you want back. I support all boards I use that solicit funds.
Perhaps having a sales portal that gives a small % of sales back to the board from manufacturers that sell through the portal.

I read through all three pages of this and was impressed by all the ideas and the eagerness to help Paul, but what impressed me more than anything was Paul's lengthy, but very well-written post on page 2. The things he said in that post were the very things that brought me to this site. He has taken a stand and held tight to a most important practice...one that so many businesses have abandoned. He cares about his customers...about people in general. It's obvious. That's why I keep coming back and it's aslo why I tell everyone about this place and the honesty and integrity I have discovered here. Spreading the word about SBG will help. I have some family members who love swords and such. I'm pointing them in this direction because I know they won't be disappointed. I have no doubt that Paul's helpful nature and dedication to his customers will prove to be most rewarding for his business.
By the way, I'd buy the sharpening tools, especially one of those Accusharp things.
