After logging in and getting the thread you want click the red “Reply” button in the upper right corner. Type your message and place the cursor where you wish to place your photo(s). Then click the “Add Attachment” button in the upper right. A new menu will appear and on the left side click “Add files”. Go to the photo in your files that you wish to post and highlight it then click the “Open” button found in the lower right. When the up load is complete the horizontal bar will turn green and two buttons “Insert” and “Delete” will appear, click your choice. You'll need to use the desktop mode for uploading attachments so if you're on mobile scroll all the way down and tap the "Desktop" link at the very bottom of the page.
The size of your attachment(s) will be limited to 1 MB. If greater reduce the size of the file or use a third party’s site such as Imgur, Photobucket, Flickr, etc. and transfer from there. There is also software dedicated to reducing the file size. I’ve done it with MS Paint and saved from purchasing a program.
One must be a member of the forum. Others cannot post photos.

Adding pictures from iPhone, easily shrinking file size:
Take pics on your phone Email to yourself; right before you press send, it asks if you would like to “resize image” Select “medium” or “large”. Large is almost always less then 1mb. Medium is always less than 1 mb but quality is lacking. Send. Open the message, open the pic, hit the “more” button (sends to others button), save to “my photos” or “my files”
Go to SBG Scroll all the way down. Hit “desktop” Upload from your phone as all other instructions indicate. Be sure to chose the new resized image, the original will still be there and looks the same.
No desktop computer needed! All IPhone!

No desktop computer needed! All IPhone! Thanks mwm38. Many of our members are using a smart phone and need an additional assist. Your instructions sound clear. I don’t have one. My camera has a setting for email and photos are usually a trifle less than 100 KB and are good enough for our purposes and upload quickly. Occasionally I come across a photo taken with another camera that is excessive and shrink it using MS Paint.

And if you mostly access the site from your mobile device, as I do, scroll down to the bottom and click on desktop version, because you can't add pictures from your mobile device.
Once you follow all instructions as outlined above, go to the homepage on the desktop version and scroll down again and you'll see the link to take you back to the mobile version.

I'm still struggling with this. I'm on Android, and my pics are always too large to attach. I tried looking at Imgur and Flickr but couldn't figure out how to reduce the file size. I have a classified up with no pics right now. Help!

Hello i bought a Katana. And really do not no much about it. The tang has no signature. But the guard does seems old. The spine comes up to a pooint like an tip of a A. Pitting in the blade sharp still. And the guard has a signature.

I might be wrong but afaik guests can post images via url from a picture host. They don't have the add attachment option.
