No, it's probably some side effect of eating salmiakki. Too much licorice would give you the runs, not constipation... Even if it's flavored with welding flux?

So...our local Costco is out of Tp...go figure, but also out of tortillas. I see a sneaky alternative wipe...

Well, if the stores run out, I have a ton of old bed sheets---but as it goes, I have about 10 rolls.

Having grown up in or near the riot zone in Los Angeles, I know the value of laying low. It would be kinda silly to get killed going to the store for piddly items during a riot. Stock up and stay home. Let the other idiot die for you. Catchy diseases are not much different than a riot.
Went to the lumber yard today to get some wood for a home project. On the way back I went to the super and picked up fresh fruits, frozen veggies, pain pills, some ginger for ginger tea, peanut butter, and other odds and ends.
When I got back my wife informed me the news "somewhere" just said seniors should not go to supers. Yawn.
Also, I find this whole tp thing to be anal retentive. You should be stocking up on liquids, painkillers, non-perishable foods, basic medical supplies and water. We have a 450l water tank and 4 or more bottles of purified water plus my new Greyl water bottle.
Since I have pledged to not eat at restaurants for the next 3 months, I should not get intestinal bugs and so no need for an excess of tp.

All the measurements are taken for PROTECTING ELDER GUYS & GIRLS and PEOPLE WITH PRE-EXISTING ILLNESS from unnecessary exposure to the virus! Its still a fact that most of the infected dont feel much more than a simple cold... leave the church in the village, as we say in germany... the actions are necessary and make sense - but they dont mean doomsday is here. Holger is taking medication which is suppressing his immune system as a side effect, and i can assure you he is NOT in panic mode; but he is acting cautious.

I have 36 rolls, but don’t worry fellows for tomorrow I’m off to the market. Seriously though that isn’t panic buying. The inventory had gotten down to the restock point and I bought a 32 roll pack of 3 ply a couple of weeks ago. I wasn’t aware of a shortage nor panic buying at the time. I’d say that is in keeping with my normal buying habit as I hate shopping and buy in moderately large quantity for a price break and to delay another purchase. As for the trip tomorrow also normal shopping as it’s the norm for me to buy bananas twice a week. I don’t like the local bananas and found a market that sales the better export variety. FYI there was plenty of toilet paper on the shelves Friday.

Yeah, Friday normal stock. Funny thing, I ordered a ridiculous amount of paper towels recently for my parents because they wanted exactly this type and it was only available in a big package. I call'em now Plan B.

Just don't flush those plan B's down the loo Andi.
The UK's water companies are already panicking because of everyone who's bought paper towels and similar non-flushables instead of TP. They are warning of major sewer blockages... poo fountains in low-lying areas - that should be fun. Glad we live on a hill!
