Ah, that makes sense. I now remember Skallagrim doing a video on the Hanwei pudao where the tip was bent.
Here's two where the swords actually break:
The last video is pure propaganda; even the other czech smiths know and state that. It's certainly not an unbiased video, but it contains useful footage. I assume most members are able to sift the facts from the hyperbole.

think on the enormus number of Hanwei longsword blunts out there... how many did break? From the thousands? My god, i am degending Hanwei, whats wrong? Holger sent back about a dozen swords from them... 😜

Does anybody know if this sword can be disassembled? I think it would look good with a Nanban tsuba on it.

It has a hex nut hilt assembly, so it can (probably) be disassembled.
