This is a nice ax with some good heft and balance to it. I have other axes from other makers that are similar in size, but there's much less weight to the ax haft. Thus, the blade is so heavy, and it throws the balance off. Just doesn't feel right to me. This Archer's Ax (and their Francesca) are the opposite, and both feel very good in the hand.

MRL is out of stock. Sale must of been a success, but there will be many unhappy campers out there.

Well thats lame checked it this morning about 10am and it was already sold out.... Great deal of the day MRL, lol....
Since it was out of stock, I decided screw it and get an Axe for Fathers Day anyway and snagged their Frankish Axe and a Viking spear head with the Father's Day discount.
