I tried using the SBG discount a couple weeks ago, and it was declined. Only because it was their sale and could not be used with any other offers. It didn't say the code had expired. Its been a while, but I think I remember a few users last year say they were having problems with the code. But it was something along the lines of the code had to be one of the last things you entered. Exactly at checkout or something. Maybe try again?
It would be a shame if the code was no longer usable. With the newsletter, I think its only a one-time thing. I've been subscribed for so long, that I'm sure I've already used it. Many forum members here are probably in the same boat.

I think you are correct Tancred, the newsletter code is a one time use. Could be wrong. I’ve always used the sbg code because I couldn’t remember my other code. You might be able to get more than one code if you use different devices. Not sure. |

I'll contact them. Remember when we used to use SBGWEB, it eventually expired also. Most likely MRL's programing requires an end date for their promo codes.

Thanks for posting the info, Pete I ordered the sword and gave them a call before I ordered and let them know too the code wasn't working. Actually the reason I called was because there was an issue with my rewards points not showing a balance on my account which they're working on too. Regardless of technical difficulties I'm looking forward to this sword and comparing it to the Sticklestad I purchased earlier. |
