Any opinions on this warhammer? Hey Theophilus. I own one, and like it. Its the second warhammer I own, and has smaller dimensions. So, when you get it in hand, it seems kind of small. Or, at least it did to me. Despite that, the weight seems good and large enough to cause the damage such a weapon was intended for. The other warhammer I have was what I thought was the older Windlass Archer's Warhammer. Turned out not to be, and was some cheaper, no-name brand. Its bigger, but the head is not secured very well; the langets are more for show rather than being functional. This is in huge contrast to this Windlass English hammer. The langets on it are inset deep in to the wood haft, and secure the head really well. The spike part is sufficiently sharp and pointy. I like the contrasting colors of the black and maroon leather wrap. The only drawback I can think of is that the rectangular hilt is not very comfortable for extended use. If it were a bit more ovular or rounded, it might be more comfortable. Maybe it would be if the user had gloves or armored gauntlets. I think this is a fair price. I got mine for about that or a little less at KOA many years ago. |

I have one also. It's the lightest of the three war hammers I have. Not a bad little hammer and at about $60 not too shabby.

I wouldn't hold out much hope, but maybe tomorrow will be something good? I didn't think so, so I went ahead and ordered what I really want last night. With the 25% sale going on, got a good almost $50 off. I didn't think it would work, but tried to get the additional 10% with the SBGVIP. No dice. I know, dumb, but just thought I'd try.  |

The way their sales go, if there is a sale code the sbgvip code won’t work. If there is no code, just a percentage off, then you can use the sbgvip code with it. Their Black Friday sale at thanksgiving is 20% off plus the sbgvip 10% for 28% off. It ran the whole week of thanksgiving and on actual Black Friday they bumped it to 25% +10% for 32.5%. Don’t know if they will do that again this year.
