If it helps, it's made from old beer cans. Its kind of funny, many years ago, my older brother was in college. He had a few friends from India studying here in the US. In many of the classes they had together, those three guys would sit in the back making aluminum mail out of soda and beer cans. As subtly and under the desk as they could. By the end of the semester, they had been pretty productive. Anyway, I've been looking out for some aluminum mail. I have the usual steel, but just looking for something a little lighter and more comfortable. Want riveted, though. Anyway, hopefully MRL can come up with some good deals here this weekend! |

I'm kinda breaking my rules with this one as it really doesn't fit a typology. The hilt is definitely later period 15th century but the blade is very Type XIII-ish which is why I like it. Of course it has the flat riccasso which lends it more to a Type XX. Still a cool sword and for under $200 a great deal. I paid $167.00 shipped with the 20% discount. |
