I seem to remember that saying “ I’ll buy that for a dollar or I’d buy that for a dollar” from my high school days way before either movie. Yeah I’m that old. But can’t remember if it came from a movie, a tv show or something else. Of course I could be remembering it wrong. Again old☹️

www.museumreplicas.com/witch-hunter-breastplateSorry I'm late, but hey...it's my day off work. Gimme a break. Anyway, here's a Witch Hunter Breastplate for y'all to check out. By the looks of it, it's the exact same thing as an Epic Armoury 'Dark Drake' breastplate, but Windlass took the extra step and added a leather liner. Other than that, same damn thing. FWIW----I have the complete set of Epic Armoury 'Dark Warrior' armor. It's pretty good, as LARP/costume armor goes. Here's a piss-poor screen-cam shot of it, along with a matching Epic Sugarloaf helm. It's displayed on my also piss-poor homemade wooden armor stand that I built from scraps I collected at my job. Not a pro construct, but IT WORKS!--- --- *Also FWIW----I can almost 100% guarantee--If you order the 'Witch Hunter' breastplate, you can get a matching back plate from KoA. The 'Dark Warrior' and 'Dark Drake' back plates are identical. Just be sure to match sizes---large to large, medium to medium. *

Oh yes...several times...but no pics. I'm just waiting on cooler weather here. I plan a photo shoot in the next few months, and if there's snow on the ground...all the better.

Is it customizable or just one fixed size? The breastplate alone comes with two leather double-ended straps that fit the buckles on the shoulders, criss-cross the back, and buckles at the waist. It's just 18ga steel, so you can bend the sides in or out a bit, as well as bend the shoulders slightly for a perfect fit. It's pretty comfortable, once adjusted to one's body. The matching back plate has straps at the shoulders and two on each side. Getting into it by yourself is near impossible. I left the shoulder straps/buckles on mine and completely did away with the side buckles and straps. Now, it hinges open at the shoulders and goes on like a clam shell, and I use a belt to hold it closed at the bottom. Works like a charm!

This just may be the first DoD where the weapon wasnt a Larp sword on my birthday week. Last time it wasnt was when I purchased my European Sword.
Hopefully the weapon is something good and something I dont own!

Some medieval dagger and in two days the Sword of Tancred? (edit: nope, discontinued. Something from KoH perhaps, or the Accolate? )
