There are a couple of interesting aspects of the "Delos" sword too. Check out how wide the tang is (you can see where it meets the shoulders at the guard). 90 degree angles, unfortunately (though that could be fixed by the industrious user), but nice and wide. Also, according to the Roman Army Talk forum, the tang is peened over the wood "pommel" portion of the handle. Deepeeka seems to be slowly but surely making some progress.

I do like the looks of the DEEPEEKA roman swords they just need to make them a little tougher and more durable. but they do have quite a variety of styles to pick from.
