Peter Johnsson Vorpal sword, the crown jewel in my collection, scabbard by DBK Blade Length: 31 inches Blade Width at base: 3.5 inches Total Length: 38 inches Grip Length: 5 inches Guard Width: 9.5 inches I just found this thread ... I would love to see the blade and know how much the sword weighs..

thanks guys, some general stats, its a recreation of the Steinvik sword from Norway 10th century, by Emiliano Carrillo and Matthew Berry. Matt did the hilt in its entirety, with cast bronze antiqued pieces inlaid with silver and copper wire and panels made of bronze that Matt carved to match the original. The blade was forged by Emiliano and is 1000 layers of 1084 and 15n20 wrapped around four twisted bars. The blade is 34 inches long and the whole thing weighs just under 3 lbs.
