Very very nice! I really need a rack. My desk just won't cut it once I get more than two real swords.

Actually, I'm not "that" far from him! Opposite ends of Texas, but still, within Texas.

Niiice. Is that a scientology book?!? Hahaha it was the only title I could read.
Make sure there arenāt extras with that cabinet. Like termites, roaches, or a stray malevolent demon or two.
Fixing my own sword cabinet problems and I tell you - itās a big problem trying to juggle safety/security and displayability, not to mention getting spousal approval of color and design.

I could *possibly* be coaxed into the notion of a multi-tiered sword rack.

Oh my--the ire of the GMOD...supplications and sacrifices in your name!
I got a call from the auction house today for the big cabinets...he couldn't believe what they went for and had to check the computer invoice twice to make sure. Now...if I can only luck into a similarly priced sabre...

Ha! I was bitten by a radioactive sword bug. Perhaps it was the same one?? He spake wisdom unto me once...wisdom of the sabre...and it's calming effects
See, im Designing my basement around a martial art theme heavily influenced by the sword. At 55" wide...16 deep...these 2 cabinets are perfect. And lockable yet not impervious.
The teak? Scotch shrine? Hawks? Bayonet? Customs? We shall see...lest we forget my clock project sword storage... Ouro

She gave me her card. Offered a good price but...swords...home...what will keep them warm this winter? The cut n thrust venom is strong...but I'm resisting until the right piece comes along Yeah, Croccifixio, but breakfast wouldn't hold up my katana Ouro

Master Stark, thanks. Might need a bit o help pulling down a wall to get them where I want em but...once they're in the basement they will never come out! I'd like some opinions on this part of my plan...
I have 2 options. 1) boring option Put the 2 cases side by each with a pocket door to their left that would lead into a 7'x16 storage space
2) batman option Seperate them with the clock in a custom frame that rides a pillow bearing and block w vertical support pipe to swing into or out of the storage space 7x16
My personal fav is 2
Now...anyone done hidden doors/rooms? What would you do with the pieces pictured here...? Dont be shy
