Hope you stay safe and sound whenever youre going to use it... would hate to see that thing break and hurt you or somebody around you or an animal! I really hope your trust in DSA is not going to be ill-rewarded... my 2nd gen Guardian has exactly the same blade (without those typical Guardian "dents" in the ricasso) - still a nice looking sword but i cannot trust in this anymore... started some creaking sounds last time i swung it around!

I have three DSA swords and one dagger and have had no issues with any of them. When it comes to DSA you're just a bad luck chuck. When I bought the Eindride I had no intension of abusing it, it just to pretty. You wouldn't use Heidi Klum for kick boxing practice would you ? The blade on the Guardian is two inches longer than the Eindride so why go to the trouble of shortening the blade if they used the same blade. I wish it was the same, longer is better.

I'm thinking maybe Two to three weeks but I sent them a money order so a week of that was time for them to get it. They had just said they were available to ship then I ordered it. It still makes me smile every time I look at it. < see.

But with padding, of course... i dont like to hurt people too hard and injure them... * my Guardians blade length is exactly 32" (well not SO exactly... give or take a few milimeters) * best wishes anyway - and happy easter holidays!

hi, sorry for the amount of questions but last one, i was wondering if you ordered it sharp? i've heard some pretty mixed things about the DSA sharpening service how was it for you?

Ask all the questions you want, that's what reviews are for. I ordered it unsharp but I'll tell you it's sharper than some swords I ordered sharp. It cut through the water bottles with no problem. With just a little work on the Arkansas stone it could be razor sharp. You can also order it without a scabbard which I did. Knew from the start I was going to back mount it and besides the stock scabbard covers up the Wolf head in the center of the guard. I think I said this before, I love this sword.

I just paid off my Eindride yesterday and I’m super psyched! Unfortunately they said it’ll be 2 weeks before it ship. It’s going to be a long 2 weeks.... 😬
