Very nice collection! Nice displays, too. I’m especially partial to your 1822 and artilleriesabel. Thank you for sharing. If you want the arty, feel free to make an offer. It's got its own sale thread now.

That is a super nice Att’y. sbg-sword-forum.forums.net/thread/60670/prussian-artillery-sabreI have one, but it’s a fourth gen per Pino’s system (no sword knot slot) from 1914. Mine has the Bakelite grip rather than the more prestigious leather wrapped wood core like yours. This sword is ferocious to handle. Fast and substantial. This is what an industrial war machine could produce when it was serious about making swords for battle. I would definitely consider buying it, but I just committed to buying a saber from another forumite. I’ll be keeping an eye on the listing, though, in the very unlikely chance it hangs around for a while.

So even if someone doesn't buy it it'll be taken down eventually.

Very nice!!! I wish I could display mine but I live at the beach and the salt in the air is my arch enemy. What kind/brand of oil to you keep on your blades and how often do you re oil them?

I live in a very dry climate so just once a month. I use whichever olive oil I pick up from the grocer, usually extra virgin with no additives. I know some dislike the smell, but I've never had an issue with it going rancid or anything. It's also decent with leather.
