Well, Big Fellow you make that look effortless. I am most impressed. I had pictured that sword as cumbersome and unwieldy. My mistake.

That looks almost effortless the way you are handling the sword with one hand, outstanding piece of craftsmanship. Wes: Could you measure the thickness at the base and tip? I'm surprised the weight is so low, it seems to weight pretty much the same as a Hanwei Tinker great sword of war yet has a much wider blade. The steel has to come from somewhere but it doesn't seem very thin either judging from it's stiffness. I'm very interested to see what kind of geometry-voodoo John has put into this amazing blade. i think the gravity defying characteristics came from the Gravitational fields of the dying star it was forged in ill get some thickness measurements asap. It starts out very very thick and then gets thin really fast, thats why its not floppy like the gsow That must be it. I would much appreciate it. Sounds almost like there is a concave distal taper going on.
