I got the Deepeeka Walloon as part of a package deal. Had a brass half basket and a 30 inch bilious blade. Sold it for 10.00 wrapped in the cost of shipping.
(Walloon? Walloon? I thought you say Balloon or maybe Bahroom...)
(PS, PS: Deepeeka has made itself a spot in the repliarms world with its Greco Roman arms and armor for reenactment. They have been trying to make some acceptable display medis. Their modern era stuff has been around longest and is tired wallhangers. )

At least the few Deepeeka sword I owned some time ago had very thick edges so it's no wonder Kult of Athena is not considering sharpening them. It would take a lot of time to get a decent geometry & edge on them. In my opinion their swords are way overbuilt yet their quality isn't that high so I wouldn't really consider "battle use" for them. Their low price was the factor that made me try them but after getting the swords I wished I wouldn't have spent that money on them... ![:(](//storage.forums.net/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) Could have saved it for something better but it was an experience and I got them sold. I will approach Deepeeka with big caution after my personal experience.
