Great job with the core and risers. This scabbard is going to be the perfect fit for such an amazing sword, which is deserving of a good home such as this. Good luck with the leather!

Thank you for posting such thorough descriptions and how to. I always thought scabbards were chiseled, and kept cracking the wood trying. I've no experience with leather, so it might be a stretch. My only experience is with kydex sheaths, which I literally just started making. They're much more lenient towards mistakes. I might buy a bare blade, just to attempt this. Thanks!
