War Sword is a good choice, I'd say. I have one from VA and it is a beast of a sword with a good blade presence.

I just wanted to add a +1 to Voltan's Appleseed Sharpening. He's brought his swords to meetups and he does an outstanding job.

It sure looks like it cuts very well now and the edge looks well enough done. I do think the transition from blunt(ish) to sharp a few inches from the guard could be a bit better though. Some smoothing out with sandpaper would make it MUCH easier on the eyes Indeed about the ricasso transition...the sword was sent back to me last week to grind off and re-profile a bent tip, so while I had it I smoothed the transition from blunt to sharp a bit... You know for what you charge I see no fault with your blunt to sharp transition. Some people always have to find fault, if you were charging $75.00 to $100.00 pre edge it could have been better.

transition looks fine to me mate, the only real way to have it totally seamless is to sharpen the entire blade, which is problematic with peened hilt constructions and cross guard ggetting in the way

Gakuseinozen had me blunt the first four inches, so he could grip it with a finger over the guard.
