Short, but very up-to-point review.
I've been tracing your recent reviews (thank you for the lot of these, appreciating your time - and money) and these are a gold mine of first hand experience and information.
You have very much changed my mind about many of the sword types I was reluctant to before and given much of additional info to the ones I was thinking I know quite a bunch about.
Much appreciated.

I think I read in more than one place that "the people" think this is probably Del Tin's best handling Viking sword and you are also of the opinion that it handles well. Its actually a very cool looking sword too, very restrained but a very classic "Viking' look to it. If I ever see one of these for a good deal I will be snatching one up myself. There is something very appealing to the way Del Tin does their hilt furniture. Its usually a darker shade of steel and while not at all sloppy...it has a less than perfect finish usually but I actually think that works really well. Its not machined looking at all. I realize they are cast etc so this makes perfect sense...but I think they do a nice job with the final process leaving their fittings slightly rustic looking.

I have 5 Del Tin Viking swords and 3 of them are on the heavy side. They are nice lookng swords but not very practical. This one and the Transitional Viking sword are really quite decent and worth the price.
I have always wondered why Del Tin has not done any changes on their overly heavy Viking swords to bring them into proper weights. Del Tin is capable of making some models that handle well and balance nicely. I think they need to revamp some of these older models as the market has seen many makers offering better swords in terms of weight, balance and price.
The DT-2104 is well regarded on other forums from my research.
