I'm looking for a folded, differentially hardened and preferably cheap wakizashi(or bare blade). Bad equation, I know... I'm going to make all the components myself (tsuka, fuchi, kashira, tsuba, saya etc.) so a bare blade would suffice. Blade should be functional but it's not intended for heavy cutting. It's going to be a show piece.
Any recommendations of product and where to buy? Price range 150-500€ preferably around 200€. Also secondhand sword would do. I'm located in Finland so the vendor should be in Europe preferably.
Thanks.

Well, it isn't a bare blade, but you could easily remove the fittings from this and you'd have your bare blade: www.ebay.com/itm/CLAY-TEMPERED-J ... 3cd07beb2c I picked up a katana from them and I'm generally impressed with the quality. Here's their store front: stores.ebay.com/lyuesword

Thanks serpentandsword. THIS ONE seems suitable. Opinions? Does anyone else have any experience with Lyuesword? I'm not expecting high quality. I just need to know are the products what they appear and if I put my money on this, will I ever get the product? Also: How fast is the delivery? Do they ship to Finland? Does the "customization" option work? etc. I've never done business with ebay vendors so I'm some what doubtful. They all seem a bit suspicious to me. If anyone has any other recommendations they would also be most welcome. Thanks.

I did order a 1060 katana from them about a year ago. This is how it looks with the tsuka removed. It's on the right. A Tenchi Ko-Katana is on the left, which should hopefully give some size reference.
