That is beautiful, I look forward to the announcement. It's weird to see you for the first time, in my head you had a fuman-chu.

I think it has been out for a while, don't want to spoil the surprise, I'll let Josh or the company to do the announcement.

I was told there was a delay in the reveal. I actually don't know when this will happen but I'm hoping sometime soon. I will be sure to update this thread as soon as I know.

I'm guessing it will be available from the SBG store

Not sure if this is coming from SBG. They usually let you know a bit in advance if there is something in the works. This might qualify as a Project X katana and then it would be at least $1000 bucks if so. I did enjoy the review. As a person who is relatively new in the chinese katana world it's always nice to learn from a reviewer who has a lot of intimate knowledge about a wide variety of offerings. I like the tsuka shape and wrap myself. There is a fine balance between the strength and durability of a tsuka and it's slender and graceful shape. And it seems to be an oversight to put a paneled tsuka on such a nice blade. There is a decent amount of extra time and thought put into this blade which I appreciate. I was really enjoying my $400 Huawei DH until I saw this one. Props to the reviewer.

I'm not exactly sure what this means. I haven't heard anything from the manufacturer yet, but I will post the info as soon as I get it. I promise

Don't mind it Bunny. Like I said in AS thread I'm having a phase where I try to be bit of mystery man. So I'm playing my own games a bit to enjoy the conversation without giving straight answers. It may be bit annoying but bad tip like that last one isn't too easy to figure out.

I think it's funny seeing all the different opinions. Think about it... look at the polish... only one or two companies do a polish that good.
