Ugh, it's 2:30. I'm going to see if I can somehow WILL myself to sleep. Talk amongst yourselves.

Feral: Play Minecraft. First time I played the full game I started at about 7pm. Next thing i knew it was 6am. I don't play much anymore, but it's fun to watch others play. I do have two servers that I pay a good bit of money for...but nobody uses them anymore.

Everybodys different. No silver bullets. In my case, when stressed out with screwed up sleep cycles and vivid dreams. I can pop a melatonin pill and sleep soundly; wake up and can't remember what I was dreaming about. Few nites of that and I can get back in rythm. Work as an inductrial security supervisor. I'm the shift replacement of last resort, so every so often get called in at midnight to suck up a 16 hour shift. Nowadays that kills me. Takes about 5 days to get back to a normal body rythm. I find the melatonin cuts that to two nites. Glad it works. Hundred years ago in college I used to stay up all night. Late night radio and books. Never took a class before 1300.
Nowadays it's beddie bye bye 2130 and up at 0430 either by alarm or a hungry tom cat who thinks its a great time for a Fancy Feast binge...

I find melatonin works. My doctor suggested I take it to help me sleep during the day after I've been on back shift.

How my weekend went: Friday: Up at 9 AM. Worked 11A-7:30P. Went home and had people over. Got called out at 11:50. Plant was down Saturday: Finally got plant started and left at 01:30. Got almost home and they called me out again. Took until 10 AM to get it going, again. Got home arond 11 to find that everyone at my house had got incredibly intoxicated an threw up all over everything. Got an hour of sleep and ate a fast food burger. Back to the plant until 4PM then went to my friends' wedding at 5. Finally got home after the wedding (absolutely no clue what time it was) went to sleep. Was too tired to really sleep, so kind of just phased in and out. Not really sleeping. You guys know what I'm talking about. Sunday: Boss calls at 06:45. Internet is out at the plant. Have to go fix it. Fixed internet and went home to take my first shower since Friday morning. Back to the plant until 12:15 when I went to eat lunch with my family then back at the plant by 2:30PM. Worked until 5. So between being up for over 38 hours, working all through the night, and trying to get everything done... Who is sleep deprived? Lol. If I can survive that, I can survive anything.

Aww I missed the late night talk last night. I was busy watching videos abut permaculture, and how to raise mealworms for chicken feed.
I tend to be a bit of a night owl, in fact I do better when I can stay up to 4-5 am and sleep during the day rather than sleeping at night. I am just naturally nocturnal.

I started night classes a while ago and spend most of the short hours studying or cooking the following days meals. I'm more productive and have stopped eating junk food entirely.
During the day, whatever the weather, I'm training for the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo (second stage trials this August) and next year's Invictus Games in Oz.
Still, I don't sleep much trying to rob some down time.
