To my untrained eye, it looks like a decent blade! The Tsuba isn't all rough and half finished like many cheap Tsuba's I've seen. What are those marks on the habaki? Nice Saya. To me the Ito and ray skin look pretty well done. Anything loose or misaligned you've noticed? Looks like you have a nice blade there.

Typical 1st sword jitters. I think there's a sword comic that addresses this... Ah, yes, here it is: (Due to the picture problems from the forum switch, I am uploading a saved copy) Attachments:

Valandur wrote... What are those marks on the habaki? I think the habaki is showing reflection from the tsuba art work... appears polished to a higher shine than a lot of habaki. Wow!! That hamon really pops !!! Wish my 1095 beater popped that well. :-)

Thank you Valandur im not sure about the habaki it does have a few scraches but fits the blade well. It looks real nice to me and i think it may be a bit more polished but not sure. Taran that was me in that comic for real jk almost. Im very happy with the sword and im sorry i did not know the pics would be so large. adamthedrummer sadly it did not come with Spam boo.

Just have patient, it might get stuck in Chinese customs. It happens a lot especially for sword which could be considered as "weapon" good luck!

Politely and regularly request status updates. I had a case where week after week the shipping status said still in China (preparation for shipping). Repeated respectful emails got it to me via getting the attention of the shipping dept via hearing from me repeatedly, but with courtesy and respect. ....squeaking wheel squeaked until oiled....
