the back in stock notification is good, but make sure it lets you select the blade type you want (sharpened or blunt), because that has to match what came in stock (they don't always get both in a shipment).
Also keep an eye on the forums here for "I just got an Albion from Viking Shield" posts meaning a restock just happened. They are only a few miles down the road from me, so it is too bad they don't have a showroom.

Not sure if Viking Shield will make sure to get some sharps if you ask them.

Another Albion. I finally got my hands on a Jarl. The black on the handle looks almost like a very dark brown compared to my black handled Albion Squire Lines and Albion Steward, which I like. Ignore the dog hair. I can not avoid it in this house lol. Just need a Hersir at some point.

Very nice. I wish they'd do a berserkr with a double edged blade though!

How is the handling on the Jarl? Very nice. More nimble than the Huskarl but not as heavy a hitter. Jarl, Hersir and the Stamford are my favorites.

Thats cool to hear, I handled the huskarl and the Hersir. For some reason the Huskarl seemed easier to manuever despite being heavier and more forward in POB. The Hersir is probably my favorite aesthetically. Almost bought one of them at socal sword fight, but ended up getting a Solingen and Count instead. I wish I could have gotten one of those discontinued Gotland, Vinland, or Valkjrie back when they were available.

It comes up rarely, but hopefully I will get one. The Gotland, Vinland and Clontarf Next Gen swords are rare too. But I am happy with the Squire Line versions.... for now.
