I guess you finally feel the reason why I prefer CS more than dragonwell now. haha.. the word might felt "light" but it is all because of the balance more than the actual weight. CS swords are balanced pretty good IMO, they are great for actual cutting use. Also, the scabbards are tough~

After reading all the good reviews of this sword I decided to purchase one. I am very happy with the overall balance and weight of the sword. I was worried after reading that it can feel over weight and clumsy but this was absolutely not the case it is a very lively sword and a good weight. The quality of the workmanship is high. Over all I am happy with the purchase. I do find the handle to be hard on the hands and does little to encourage good edge alignment when cutting. Mine has come quite sharp but seems to have a burr to the edge that is rough and picks up pieces of the cloth i use to clean it. For somebody with very little experience with sharpening what is the best way for me to approach cleaning up the burr?

Go with 1000 grit sandpaper wrapped around a wood block. Try to figure out what direction the burr is going in and then make a few passes on the opposite side (opposite direction vs the bur) making sure to keep your block at the same angle as the edge. It will probably just take one or two passes. Go slow, you don't want to overdo it.
Also, don't use one of the sanding sponge things. These will imperceptibly bend around the edge, despite your best efforts to keep them flat, and dull it.
