Thanks for the above, I will try to see if I can find those powder! For all of you who are interested, after my final polishing phrase, here is the final www.taoistmasterblog.com/han-jia ... -polished/ it's so nice in real person, look as shiny as the battle gim, but not as crazy as the jade lion, haha~ it's beauty is what I call "concealed beauty". Nice blade~ I chopped and did some abuse with it, and so far no damage and no wobbly, pretty okay for me~!

i'd like to see a rodell jian repolished with that method sure the blade is not folded and will not be as beautiful as a foded blade but still it would be an improvement to the polish i've seen on the picture.

I trust my hands can bring the cutting sword to a mirror finish too, but must start with sandpaper of rough grade.. like 180 or something is my bet.. then 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 2000, 3000, compound, powder.. oh yeah, it's going to be a mirror like sword! good idea for the cutting sword!

Oh yeah, that's why they can cut cost too, because it save a lot of labor cost for polish and sanding! hahah!

Same to my thunder god katana too, it cost me $100 only and they skip all the polishing job.. funny that I can do that all by myself and tranform it up to a higher cost blade~ haha!
