Can't question yer taste, now can we. Two first line Atrims I can relate to. I'm no judge of Katana so I'll take Marc's sign of approval. The Mainzchete... By the way, the pics are excellent. Hope you weren't standin on the roof or banister to get those nicely balanced straight down perspectives. Tried that in the den oncst n the ceiling fan ate me to shreds... SO this one is only a Premordial Arms.

Thanks guys, I’ve really enjoyed getting to this point, still have a few pieces on my want list so I’ll be adding to this thread in the near future lol close, I had them in the middle of our 10 seater outdoor setting, I’m also ontop of it standing legs apart and leaning forward until I reach my balance point

Nice stuff Paul, good to see a fellow Aussie stepping up Love the Elite! I'm just starting to build my collection, have go three swords coming, all in transit. Those Cold Steel Gladius look mean in black, was it as sharp as they claim? I've got a Cold Steel 1796 Light Cav Saber coming

Thanks mate, well the gladius came both sharp and rough, it looks to be a machined edge but with a bit of work i removed all the burs and its now cuts surprisingly well and the edge also holds up quite nicely.

Do you mean the CS Gladius Machete? If so I thought about taking it back to a satin finish but thought as it is a flat machete with no ridge / bevel it might look a bit off, and in anycase if done would also require more maintenance, so I let it be From iPhone

Good stuff. From your pics of the A&A spear - I went ahead and bought the A&A Viking version. Just need the long axe and a shield.

Hi Guys, delivery arrived today from aussieknives.com/ (ordered midday Monday, arrived Wednesday morning, ACT to VIC), new Bark River STS-5, Satin Blade, Black Canvas Micarta (though it looks green to me). Stats: Overall Length: 10.875 Inches Blade Length: 5.5 Inches Blade Steel: 154CM S.S. @ 58rc Blade Thickness: .270 Inch Weight: 11.250 Ounces Really is quite a nice knife, extremely solid but with a comfortable heft. Not sure about the grip material, never held these canvas type grips, might swap them out for g10 or wood. Fit and finish are excellent, not quite as good as my Fallkniven but still excellent. Mine seems to have come with an updated sheath, I know there have been complaints on the net regarding the previous one supplied, but so far this one seems fine. It also came paper cutting sharp. If I was to pick a fault it would be the tip, and you probably won’t even be able to tell from the pic, but one side isnt ground as evenly as the other.

Nice, I have liked the Bark river I have seen - I got a Falkniven S1 instead, and then a Scrapyard, then a Busse. Stop looking at knives now you have a couple, they can cost almost as much as a sword but waayyyy shorter... Hmm Spears - they look good too.

Just one more I think, a small one, either a Falkniven F1 or a Bark River Bravo 1. But your right, quality knives can cost as much as some swords, goes to show the actual value you can get in a sword.
