Kelmain's Eclectic Cache

Update
I have been planning on posting some nicely organized and arranged pictures of some of my collection for months, nay, years now. However, there always seems to be one more piece on which I'm waiting, or some customization I'm half finished with, or just a couple more really good pictures of this piece or that display. I'm resolved that this process will never be started if I don't just get something out. So, since I am facing a Monday deadline on an important work project that I planned to finish over this weekend, this seems like the perfect time to further procrastinate on it and try my hand at organizing a collection post. What I have gotten ready to go to one degree or another so far reflects about half my collection. It does cover most of the nicer pieces though.
4/2/2012 - Updated with a few natural light pics and an additional sword or three.
5/27/1014 - Finally getting around to updating the collection a bit since I moved. Since the cache has grown to over 100 swords and other weapons now, I won't try to include detail pics of every new acquisition in the last couple years, but I would like to show off my home armoury/office that I have now gotten close to the way I want it. I'm leaving the detail pics in for those swords I posted originally. The work office hasn't changed much since the original post, so I'll leave those pictures up as well.
I'm too lazy to resize all of the images to fit, so don't forget to click the "Print View" icon in the upper right to get the full pictures.

This is the first suit of chainmail I made back in 1983. The expanded sections which are the lighter rings were added around 1990. It is 12GA steel rings and the shirt by itself weighs about 40 lbs and I used to fight in it all day. I have slacked off to a 28 lb riveted suit these days.
And an urn full of miscellaneous swords, scabbards, wasters, etc.
And a few more closeups
