They have a similar color at Swordnarmory. It's only $.90 a foot with free shipping for the chemical fiber. About 14ft. for a handle.

no no no lol i dont dislike it. i just really like that blue. the brown katana is just for me to get used to a katana with. xmas im buying a good katana that i will do costume ito and saya and so on just really take my time on it.

Thats just what I did. Buy some ito, buy some poplar and wood chisels and start practicing carving. And then tsuka-ito the handle to practice. You should have it down pretty good by winter.

I had to sand it out. I got it most of the way with sandpaper(which was a total b#tch, by the way,) and a thin chisel. Then my dad gave me his Dremel, which finished the job in about 15 seconds.
