No I did'nt use any glue except for the omote knot, which was pretty tricky, harder than the Ura in my opinion. I actually am surprised as this is the tightest sturdiest tsuka-maki job I've done. And the knots were my first real attempt at doing them. Took me 5 hours of trial and error though. I Actually chipped the blade the next day hitting a bottle cap accidentally, the steel is pretty soft, but its more for display anyways. I still love it!

You definitely turned that sword around, it looks completely different. Very Good job, and by the looks of it, w/out same gave it alot of character.

Just finished my raptors new tsuka last night. The tanto is getting a re wrap too, full wrap of samegawa (white, my katana has matching ito but its black same)
