Well, up here in Canada, they have shops that sell drug paraphernalia like bongs and hash pipes. Also, you can legally buy Salvia as an "incense" either in those stores or many convenience stores.
Also, there's been a large movement up here to establish legal cafe's where the smoking of Marijuana is allowed. Police are not happy about it, but they seem to ignore it for the most part, since they aren't hurting anyone.
Oh, and in British Columbia, they set up the world's first legal drug cafe, as a project to see if allowing drug addicts to shoot up in a safe environment and giving them clean needles to use can actually improve the situation. They cafe staff then can talk to them about rehab other options.

Bah! My little milling machine is a complete failure. Theres just too much give in that vice. I cut a line across sideways and it looked like a little wiggley worm. I drilled a hole with a 5mm bit and it was 7mm round.
Next test I'll try a standard fixed vice and see if that behaves better.

Theres just too much give in that vice. What do you mean by give? And in what direction? The little X-Y vice I have is pretty stout.

It is a CADILLAC of grinders. Soon to have a black paint job with red pinstriping. Thanks guys, been a long time coming. Kreig, i also have the HF, and for the price it is a STUNNING machine. You mean the green one? That's the one I have...I didn't know it had a cult following among bladesmiths? Cool!

It is not so much a cult as a secret society, the BHOTHFBG, brotherhood of the harbor freight belt grinder.

I returned that sloppy, cast cross feed vice and just got a couple of fixed drill press vices. They work awesome, and I have now fitted the cross and slotted the pommel on project Braveheart. Stoked to finally have the power!

Got the motor mounted yesterday, with a single 2 inch pulley on the motor and a step pulley on the grinder i can run 3 different torque/speeds. Works great i just need to get some belts for it!

I ordered my KMG last week but I have to wait for 3-4 weeks while they build mine. Got it with the platen, 2", and 10" contact wheel. What motor did you use on yours? I picked up a surplus Baldor 1.5 hp 1725 rpm. I figured if it wasn't enough in the long run I could upgrade to a 3 hp and use the 1.5 for a rusty or dusty variant.

I have a 1HP motor, from Marathon. An old one but it runs great. I only have the platen and a 5 inch wheel. The 2HP is more than enough, if you can afford hastur definately go with the 2 HP variable speed, you will not regret it EVER. Get some pictures up too! Rob is also maybe offering a 3 HP model soon also!

I'll post some pics when it arrives and I get it mounted. Can't wait to try it out. I plan on replacing one of the wheels on the platen with the 2" roller, I got an extra tooling arm so I can leave the platen on one, and the 10" on the other.
I got a mixture of belts to try out, some 60 and 120 grit ceramic blazes, 220 and 400 AO's from kings, and a norton 800 cork belt for sharts and giggles. My plan is to eventually upgrade to the variable motor use the 1.5 I have now for a diy power hammer. Should be more than enough to start with and then to make a 15 - 25 lb power hammer.

Yeah 1.5 should handle a Rusty style spring helve hammer really well.
