I'm going to call this one my all time favorite. I like the shape. I like the geese and I LOVE the details of it's craftsmanship.

believe it's called "Hanjiro". Simple and clean lines. Probably order this from Japan this year. Attachments:

I guess for me it would depend on what type of sword is being mounted. One day, when I can manage to draw like I mean it; I plan on acquiring a decent western/euro custom. I'd love to mount it with something like: but, I probably won't be able to afford it... Or even my favorite western/modern tsuba so far: Though, it probably really belongs on a modern art piece rather than a working JSA sword. For production swords I'm partial to the Bugei Dragonfly Tsuba (I've never handled the sword IRL however  ): For affordable commonly used examples I'm currently partial to: and the one on my current Iaito: If I had the bucks I'd be awfully tempted by another Hallam tsuba which was available in december: There are so many fantastic old tsuba examples on the net, I probably couldn't begin to choose between them. I really like a lot of simpler, solid designs; especially in shakudo with nature themes.

nice...
I always wanted a tsuba with a Decepticon symbol on it... Would be kinda cool to see a modern theme on my tsuba...

I love mokko shapes. The bugei peace katana's tsuba is my favorite. maybe strip the gold and leave it all black. I also really like the one on the cheness kaze.
