I swear I responded to this days ago... It still looks great, Mike! You can send it to me at your earliest convenience. ;D Sure thing Jonathan. Just send me your credit card number. Don't worry about the address. It won't matter. Heh, heh, heh... ;D Mike: are the older Atrims worth buying? I think they are a good enough deal that I'm buying another one from Lee tomorrow, if he responds to the email I sent him today. The only caveat is you have to be willing to refine the edge on them. They aren't blunts or unsharpened. But they need a little work to refine the edge geometry into more of an appleseed profile and they need to be sharper. In all, it's about an hour of time clamped to a table with file and stones and 400-600 grit paper, for each edge.

I just got back on this thread after months of neglect. Good work on your swords Mike. I love that Rapier Guard. Very nice. +1

Latest change on the AT-cut-n-thrust is to install a different (lighter) pommel in a more appropriate shape. This has improved the cutting performance and seems to me to help in tip control. And I think it looks a lot better. It kind of makes the hilt "flow" better visually to my eye. About the only thing left is to possibly blue the guard and pommel. But I haven't decided...

Blue it. Blue it all. Nice looking sword there, Mike. Hurry up and figure out where to go next so you can tell us about it and we can drool some more.

This sword I've taken to calling my "AT-Cut-n-Thrust" started out as one of those 1502b single handers. And just a word of encouragement and corruption...Lee will likely come down a little on the prices if you buy two, and if you ask him to. ;D
