I've liked the idea of this blade since you first described it to me Sean. Brendan sure worked his magic on it. It's a beaut. Hit the mark with your wife as well so what's not to love about it.

Wow if Shadow did a review on this I better start on Starlust. sorry guys I been injured a bit, just getting back to the the net.
Now, Starlust is actually a bit of this Fox Jian too, and I'd love to have one made for the wife.

Gotta get me jin-shi and then start saving up for my rose. I've said it once, I'll say it a thousand times fable blades are amazing pieces and Bren has a style and a flair for making these things that is unmatched.

Thanks guys... I was really messing around and having fun with the vid, it was a blast. As for the Fox-Jian... it is still my favorite sword in my collection at the moment... even tho its not mine!  ;D |

She was actually kind of miffed to see that I reviewed the sword and see video of me using it when she has not cut with it yet herself! When she returns from overseas... either she will do a review of her BKS Cutlass, or we both will, but she will be involved. |

When she returns from overseas... either she will do a review of her BKS Cutlass, or we both will, but she will be involved. Well, miffed might be too strong of a word. Sean feels 'honor bound' to do reviews on swords in receiving order and my sword happened to fall into the "Fable Blade" timeline of reviewiness (I don't know if that's a word, but it is for this post). I understand why he did the review, I was just a little sad he got to kill a pumpkin with the sword before I did. I'd like to say that the weight and balance of the sword is perfect for my size. I have small hands compared to Sean's 'meat paws', so the handle/grip of this sword is perfect for both of us to use. ;D Don't know when the BKS cutlass review will be out, but I'm so excited to do it, so stay tuned! |
