First, great review. Thanks for sharing. Second, I just wanted to share a little info. The peen isn't actually split into five petals. It uses a five lobed peen/rivet-block and the peen is then shaped to blend in with it. It's the same idea as the peen/rivet-block on the Albion Knight. One of the big reasons that it takes so long to produce the blade is the fact that it is SO dang thick. The heat-tread of this sword is a tricky business. I believe that this was talked about on MyArmoury. If you do a search for "Svante" you should be able to find it. Awesome job, Odin. Thanks again.

They did a great job with it, because visually, it looks like the peen itself has been split into five lobes. Interesting fact...

Outside of my price range as well as general interest, but I found the history to be worth the read and the review also. Thanks Odin, your usual well written yet easy to understand review, well done.
