International and domestic customers alike might be interested to know that a coupon promotion is in the making. Look out for their newsletter.

YAY SHE HAS RETURNED!!! (and I just took a look at google maps, and realized that their Chicago store is only a 10hour drive for me...hmmm.... ROADTRIP!!!!) Kerry is there now. He made the drive for a stage combat show that happend to be 5 mins down the road from KOA. I am sure he will return with a story. He told me already that he couldnt believe how many swords they had in stock. He will be returning there this afternoon on his way home to spend more time with them.

Awesome.. yeah, KoA keeps in stock a silly huge number of blades... I'm not sure anyone else I can think of has the range they do on hand.

I spent about an hour at KOA on friday and then returned saturday with stock for them after our show. It is a really great place to see so many makes of swords in one place. We had 50-55 swords with us and scattered them about the store so they could see them all and pick up stock. As we had mostly custom variations rather then standards, Ryan wanted to see everything and compair. There will be quite a few new BKS swords listed for sale there over the next few days, some unique. One handers, hand and a half, rapiers, several daggers, cutlass and a falchion.

Amen. Look at all those beautiful BKS swords... would that they had all those laying around when I visited, I dunno if I would have made it out with any money in my bank account.

Awesome news, Kerry. I hate to come across as a Polyanna, but I really do like SBG. It is so cool that we have regular input here from vendors and producers like you guys (and Sonny, and Tinker, and . . . ). Not only is it nice to see all the BKS blades spread out, it's also really cool to see the breadth and depth of KOA's showroom. I've ordered from them (with no complaints!) and I've read their website explanations, but it's somehow different to see their doss "in the pixels." (What, should I say "in the flesh?")
I feel bad that I haven't ordered a custom blade from you guys yet----but you're on the list, and SBG's all to "blame."

Actually I believe the free shipping has gone away, that was just while the website was screwed up to say "thanks for dealing with the screwed up website" but the lower prices (especially on anything spelled Hanwei) have stuck around.

I have more pics from friday where I basicly shot the entire store in perspective so you could see how its laid out. Those are already on another computer so I'll have to upload them for hosting tomorrow or so.

Ditto that ^ ! I just can't imagine going into a store like that. It's probably a good thing I don't live close. Some have a problem with drugs, gambling, alcohol, or ________ (fill in). That place would be my down fall. Can't wait for the rest of the pictures Kerry. At least my addiction can be fed vicariously, sort of!

I would probably be trying to do some less than honest things to walk away with the contents of their showroom, or selling plasma for sword money. Either way, not good. Yeah, I have SAS bad....

What're you smiling about? Don't tell me you bought it? I wish... I told them to show it to me when it was finished, that I was interested... but they went and gave it to KoA. I feel cold, wet, sad, and unloved.
