I'm finally done folks! There are still some minor things to touch up, but for the most part, I am done and extremely pleased with the results. I hope you will be too. I am glad to be pretty much at a stopping point. There are a few things that will require further attention, but for the most part, I am very happy and excited about the way this project turned out. I know that I have kept some of you on the hook for several months and I hope that you are also pleased with the turn out. Either way, I look forward to your comments/criticism. I will leave with a quote of the day, which belongs to my wife: "It's okay if you feel like a badass in that stuff... as long as you don't start believeing it." Thanks for looking. Troy/Shoboshi

Alvin, Jonathan, Lunaman, Eversberg-- Wow. Thank you very much fellas. Your approval is very much appreciated! I've worked hard but that doesn't count for much if the project is not well recieved. Thanks again!
Terry--Thank you!
Yes, you should give it a go. It has been a very rewarding and gratifying project. And I suppose it is thanks to you for posting that How To link that I have arrived at this point. Without that link, it would have been difficult at best, and I am not sure I could have gotten it done at all. So thanks for the inspiration of the link that got me started!

Buliwyf- Thank you sir! Yes, it is comfortable and flexible, one of my main requirements. And I'm really happy with the way the billowing oak leaf design worked out. Started that without too much thought on the kabuto but it paid off pretty well.
Yes, the best part is that it's self made. I'm not sure I can measure the amount of satisfaction that gives me. Even so, I'd love to see your suit so please post something.
Bloodwraith- Thank you very much sir. That is high praise!

I can see that not only have you spent a lot of hours making the yoroi, but really done your homework in studying how a japanese armour is constructed. Just as much as your work is impressing me, your conversion from historic armour to an inspired modern piece is faboulously done. True skills, sir!
A well deserved karma from me.

Fantastic, amazing, and jaw-droppingly beautiful, my friend. You did a GREAT job! ;D +1 2 you, man. You've inspired me to attempt a much less complicated armor project when I have the time... you know, start small, and all that. Give me a decade or so, and then MAYBE I can compete with what you have so elequently crafted. Bravo and encore! (By 'encore', I mean 'more pics'! ) -Slayer

Slackitude-- Thank you very much for your uplifting words sir! As I've metioned elsewhere, there is certainly satisfaction in my own eyes, knowing firsthand the work that goes into something like this, but it really doesn't matter that much if others don't view it the same way. As happy as I am with this project it is the comments of all of you folks that confirm that I indeed have done a proper job.
Ichiban-- As an accomplished craftsman, your words are very meaningful to me. Thank you!
Deb-- Thank you. Your comments are always pleasant, uplifting and welcome.
Slayer--Thanks a lot friend!
If you want to construct a suit, please, do it! It has been very rewarding for me. If I can do it, I think most people who are serious and dedicated to the project can do it too. The biggest difference between me and some others is nothing more than experience and I'm more than happy to share that. Please PM me if you have any questions.
To all those that have commented or criticized, in any of my posts: THANK YOU! It has been a long project and there were many days when I wanted it done but I didn't want to put in the work. Your responses helped to keep me focused and busy.

I knew from the pieces you've already shown us it was going to be good, but that is absolutely stunning!
I believe you have exceeded everyone's expectation which is not an easy thing to do in this jaded world!
+1
