i do. i give my whole sword a wipe down. handle, guard, pommel, and of course the blade

i thought the cross guard and pommel was ss in one of my swords, but they weren't so there was a little rust in the pommel but then I just used some WD-40 on it and scrubbed it off.

SS will still rust. It just takes longer and more exposure to do it.

Sometimes you gotta give your swords a treat, sharpen, polish, oil .......... I've kinda taken this weekend out to sporadically do bits on my Tinker Viking, metal polishing off the rust, working the main bevel with a file about half way done, then its a lengthy sanding then once its cleaned up another polish and an oil .......... sometimes you gotta pamper them

SS will still rust. It just takes longer and more exposure to do it. problem is I got it on Thursday...
