I'm in, I was the second vote anyways. I haven't seen Scott in a while, a year actually. Here's what I am planning on bringing:
Swords for sale: -Sabersmith TwoHander -Windlass Saxon Military Hilt -Windlass Baselard (discontinued) -ArmourClass Claymore - (maybe) Jody Samson Broadsword
Here's a list of some swords I could bring that I am not selling. You guys can decide which I bring:
-Albion NG Knecht -ZhiSword Yue Dynasty Jian -ZhiSword Red Cliff Jian -Qing Zhong Custom Miao Dao -Qing Zhong Han Jian -Adam Hsu Guan Dao -Hanwei PuDao -OdinBlades Custom Maelstrom -A&A Custom GBS
I don't wanna bring too many. Is there a fee or anything? I don't have any bottles. What exactly is the plan? Anyways, looks forward to meeting everyone.

You guys can bring what you want and how many swords you want to bring. And there shouldn't be any fees.
Your Maelstrom, guan dao, and pu dao sounds good. If you can bring them that would be cool.
Bringing food is a good question. Thats one that Cold Napalm could answer. bring as much money as you want.
I will have swords to sell/trade too.

Well the food and drink can be potluck. The big longbar forge can be turned into a BBQ area. I'll bring some sausage and buns from either costco or restaurant depot. I'll also grab some plates and cups and paper napkins. So if people wanna bring other stuff to BBQ or sides/snacks or drinks we should be fine...maybe we should have somebody bring drinks so we know we'll have some...hey razor can you bring drinks? Or maybe a head count would be good...if the group is small enough we can just hit the texas roadhouse after the meet. They aren't that expensive and they have pretty good food and great service...and they have real sweet tea. So that is what we can do about food...as for how much money to bring, well part of this is to do some sword trading so...how ever much you wanna spend . Oh and you wanna park in the employee parking lot which is in the back and walk to the blacksmith...we should have arrows up for directions, but I won't be there at the very start as I'll be heading there directly from work...but if you get lost you can call the forge at 510-790-9060

Humm, it looks as if there won´t be too many people there so hitting up the restaurant afterwards seems like it maybe a better idea. If we do the the potluck, the clean up would be a pain and not so much worth it without a good number of people. So, unless somebody chimes in real soon and really wants to do the potluck, the food will be going to eat after the event.

It doesn't matter to me what we do, if we have a potluck or go get something to eat after the event. I still might bring some soda or something.

Midori, where do you live? Maybe somebody can pick you up on the way down if the drive is the issue and not time. Hey razor, yeah bring drinks, I have some brownies and chips I´ll bring along .

Riverside, but it wouldn't be just me going. My fiancé would be also as he too is an SBG member.
Naw, time's not the issue. We need to get new tires for our Suburban and we haven't gotten paid yet, so that's our main hold-back. Let me know if there's someone in our area that's going your way!
Thanks! ^_^

Well, the meet up went well. Razor took some vids and pics so he should be posting them when he has time. Scott at the forge has said that he would be willing to host on a more regular basis so we could possibly set this up to meet up on a monthly basis. He may have a ¨horse¨ to be used for cutting as well...once you see the vids, you´ll know why the horse is in quotes...but it will be improved if he gets the rights to the horse hehe.
