Hey Kristie, great review. I like the looks of the 1509 alot more but then that is just my kind of sword. I would put forward the argument, please feel free to disagree with me, that the LS is not so much heavier in and of itself but because of that shift in balance between the two blades the LS feels heavier in the cut. I look forward to the review of the 1509 and ha! we almost weigh the same except I am 6' 4"... ok that is a little worrying. Yeah, that's exactly what I was trying to convey there. They weigh the same but they feel different because of the POB being farther out on the VA. And maybe you should be a little worried about the weight thing. But if you're like me, no amount of eating will put any meat on your bones.

Guys... Shut up... ;D Just ignore them, Kristie. They have obviously never had sisters who took time to explain how girls think. I nearly strangled BW through the computer when he posted that he weighs 120 but is so much taller than you (by 'you', I mean 'us' ;D). Hopefully, you're the type who isn't so worried about weight perception, but guys just shouldn't risk accidentally offending a gal by saying something like that. Needless to say, 120 is basically a perfect weight for a 5'7" female. Oh dear... now it's my turn to shut up. ;D BW: 6'4" and 120lbs?!?!?! WHAT THE HECK?!?! You must be the skinniest guy on earth.... I'm pretty darn thin (you've seen my cutting vid) and 5'7" and I wiegh 110. If *I* am such a lightweight... you're, like, a paper wieght! LOL. I'm just kidding with ya, man. We all know that you have to wear sunglasses in public so people won't swarm around you telling you how handsome you are. I'm not sure what exactly the sunglasses really DO, seeing as they only cover your eyes, but apparantly they work! -Slayer P.S. Sorry for being off topic... again. Oh, and about that book...

Where have you seen Wraith, Ric? You aren't a stalker by any chance, are you? Lol, I'm just joking. Ric, you look like you are probably all muscle too.

Oh I don't doubt it, I used to do martial arts with a girl who is smaller than you and she was extremely quick. I also used to have a housemate I would wrestle with (yes actual innocent wrestling). Ric: Thanks mate Was that the one for the sakura review I did? I really need to do a better instructional video. I am still considering doing some self defense instruction video and bits and pieces just don't have the resources to at the moment. Slayer: That's alright you can attempt to strangle me, you won't get far Also I don't think people should be worried about their weight, I thought that kristie would get a kick out of it, if I offended kristie she can feel free to tell me but thankyou for the concern. Also yeah I'm thin and tall, it is the curse of my life, due to extreme levels of illness through out my life, my metabolism feels it needs to work so fast that I can't eat enough to gain any weight, and to keep the weight I have I have to eat truckloads.

Lol, mate, I don't doubt that you'd destroy me. I think that I'm a good fighter as I am, but against someone who's had so much more experience than me, and trained in a better art (IMO), not to mention being an Aussie to boot... I'm dead! ;D Nah. I wouldn't strangle ya, pal... I'd come straight in with a front kick instead! ;D And no problem on the weight misunderstanding. I tend to be extremely careful about that sort of thing, just in case, but maybe that comes from growing up with a sister that actually helped teach me how girls think, and continues to do so, rather than trying to rip my guts out every time I turn around (e.g. regular sibling). It's nice not fighting with siblings. ;D LOL. Sorry to hear about your health issues... I have quite a few of my own, and I wouldn't wish them on anyone else. I don't want to clutter up this thread with anymore of topic stuff, but would you mind PMing me about said illnesses, if you're comfortable with that? Who knows, we may be fellow Celiacs. ;D (One of my 3 auto-immune disorders, but luckily none of them are apparant physically, and none are dibilitating. Yay me! ) Wow I'm good at getting off topic. Right... so how's that 1509 review shaping up, Kristie? ;D -Slayer

Wow, this thread somehow got violent! The 1509 review has not even been started yet. It's on my to-do list. I did want to get to it today but I don't know if I will. We shall see...

No worries. Wraith and I are just joking around. ;D I've really been drooling over the 1509 for a while, so I can't wait to hear your thoughts. Would a cutting video be too much to ask? Thanks, Kristie! ;D -Slayer

A cutting video? I'm not sure how I would accomplish that, exactly. Our video camera is a 20 year old monster of a thing that records on VHS tapes. I don't think using a cell phone would work so well. However, I think our digital camera has the capability of of recording video. Or, as a measure of last resort, perhaps the web cam that came in my new computer which I really had no intention of using. I bet most people just use camcorders and here I am making it complicated because I don't have one. We'll see. I'm almost done with my 1509 review but I don't know if I'll get it posted tonight.
