I have done that, Bloodwraith. I was joking, but I still think it looks strange.

If it had a different handle I would like it.
And Jonathan: Cold Napalm? You mean Bloodwraith?

Overly gaudy. Then again I find most "fantasy swords" pretty ugly, with an exception for a small number of movie swords and stuff by people like Powning or most katana smiths. I think I've only seen one Jody Samson piece I've liked, and I think the only fableblade I'd even consider is the nice seax they have (no offense to either, I'm sure they have awesome swords, but weird guards and the work done at the "ricasso" part of the blade isn't my cup of tea.) That also begs the question why this is in general instead of the dedicated fantasy swords sub-forum?

Sorry, Bloodwraith. I don't know why I called you Cold Napalm.

My seven years old daughter now plays with my space-marines making love interest stories with the adepta sororitas... Its like playing barbies with bolters... Now i wonder how she will include the tyranids when she'll find the box.... =) I chuckled at that
