Dude thats real pretty, was about to say you should try and make a matching surcoat which would be a fairly simple affair if you could get the colors right ........ real nice man

Wiskyjac, you should consider selling shields on ebay. At SCA events. Forget Ebay.

I wouldn't; not unless he wants to ignore a rather large consumer base that likes pretty, medievally-inspired pieces such as this shield. Not to mention, word of mouth spreads just as easily among eBay users (and forumites here) as it does in the SCA. Love the shield, wiskyjac.

Right, so start making them and selling them- I am quite sure you'll have a number of customers in the forums alone, not to mention what you might open up if you go online with it. Truthfully, they're as good as any I've seen and I've seen many, handled a few.
