Ric Thank for yet another great review . I handled KC Viking sword 4 years ago when they attend knife show in California but I found the sword to be very top heavy and I had no knowledge of Viking sword so I passed .Your review kind of give me a second thought about this sword now (which is not good for my wallet ). On the side note I had interesting conversation with Cecil about grip wrapping ,he asked me what kind of wrapping I use on the sword this got me to think that Kris Cuterly expected the customers to wrap /customized their grips after purchase. I own a few Kris cutlery sword and really like them a lot because they are sharp and light (the 1st generation Darn Dao and katana ) thier craftmanship has come a long way since the old shoe string like grip wrapping and brass hand guard. Your effortlessly handling and cutting with Viking sword convince me that may be KC viking sword is not at all that heavy so I am going to watch 13th Warrior a few more times before getting this sword

Thank you, everyone!
Luka, I agree it would be awesome indeed if it was peened.
CJ, I drink from my victims regularly, except when the bottles are nasty. eh, eh.
Yeah, Thana, if there is one place KC is lacking it's the fittings, still I'm more a function type guy so I like em fine.
