Hello there,
I remember watching a Metatron video where he listed several websites he uses to find "fair use" Medieval art images for his videos. I should have made a note of the sites, and I've tried finding that video again, but no luck yet.
Can anyone suggest some good websites to find high quality archives of Medieval/historical art? I understand this is very broad, but it sounded like there might be some popular sites out there that many use. Anything would be appreciated.
Thanks all,

Have you tried to contact Metatron? Maybe a message in one or more comment section in his videos.

I did a quick Duck search for
“fair use medieval art images”
which returned many links to high-res royalty-free image libraries.
Dunno if that’s what you’re looking for, but it might still be a useful start.
Good hunting!

Not sure if this is specific to digital or physical art, but I'll second that question if it is in regards to physical art or decorations. If anyone has a lead on good places to buy physical art or decorations to put on their walls I'd be interested as well, outside of course the actual swords/weaponry which I do consider art. Not just medieval, I really need some 19th century stuff to go with my sabre collection.

The only problem with many online museum collections is that they don't always allow free use of the images. Note that many museums charge admission......they have a financial interest in images of their exhibits.

I was kind of hoping for ready to go physical pieces but I may have to go that route and get stuff printed. Thanks for the lead.
