More likely muji hada and advertising hype.
Why don't you identify yourself as a sword selling firm advertising here without paying for it? You need to contact the moderators, and register as a Manufacturer/Vendor member.

Yes, we have many vendor and manufacturer members. Please contact the moderation staff. Thanks.

I have made the Moderation Staff aware of this thread, since there's a potential new Vendor. Welcome to our forums, and what a great start you've made! Lovely photos. Thank you for sharing! In the meantime, please feel free to become familiar with out forum rules: sbg-sword-forum.forums.net/board/100/rulesWe are pretty casual here, and our moderators try to use as light a touch as possible, but it still helps to know the community standards to avoid awkward mistakes. I've done it myself, even! Happy to have you here.

To apply for a Manufacturers and Vendors status contact a Global Moderator. I suggest Curtis_Louis or Sir Thorfinn via PM. The easiest way to find them is to click “Members” in the black bar across the upper part of screen. Then in the search, type the name you are looking for + space bar (sometime needed). Then click on “Name” or “Username” in the new screen and click “Send Message” button. You should be able to take it from there.

That’s a fine looking production sword. Good crisp geometry and shape. Vaguely reminds me of the Shinshinto I used to have. Nice tight hamon although I wouldn’t say the ko in konotare fits this case. Think I see some nie crystals. Very nifty work that looks proportioned for western users. Nice to see how good higher end Chinese production swords have gotten.

To tell you the truth the sword has the nice geometry of a true work of art But I really like the vase ,wood with glass flowers and 6 panel sectional prints of The 🌊 It doesn’t get any more classy than that A very nice tribute to Japanese art and culture I’m also a big fan of blue sageo wrap on a tsuka

They are usually found on cheap Chinese swords, and make whatever they are used on look fake. The Japanese don't make a habaki that actually looks like that (their closest type has no black enamel on it), so, IMHO, they shouldn't be used on any sword sold as "high quality". On my rebuilds of production swords, I replace them with Chinese stamped brass "falling rain" pattern habaki, which are also inexpensive, but look much more Japanese.

Please note...
I have added SBG member xingyusword to our Manufacturers and Vendors group. Please join me in giving them a warm SBG welcome.
Also, on an unrelated note, I have edited posts above to remove quoted images. The forum is nearing the allotted memory quota. I will need to go through our database and prune images to reduce the memory size. In an effort to reduce the forum's memory footprint, please refrain from copying images in quotes.
Thanks and happy sword drooling.

Low end stuff where they were too cheap to do things like add the gold to turn nigurome into shakudo, probably post samurai from Japan but rightly made nonetheless that I can buy in lots and transplant if I need to. Do some people think I’m an idiot for slapping them on a sword? Yeah but it’s usually replacing broken or dead ugly.
