I do like the look of the blade profile on that Danish dagger but like mrstabby , I'm not a big fan of the looks of the quillons. Too long and pointy for my personal taste. I do think that in the coming year I'm going to focus more on higher end daggers rather than swords. Tod actually has two daggers I desperately want to add to the collection right now but financial responsibility dictates otherwise. The ridiculously awesome Holbein dagger and, of course, this lovely "rude" bullock dagger. Maybe if no one picks them up for the next month or two I'll get my chance. Interesting! Love the Holbein. I always think of this one when I hear "Holbein"... I have another Tod dagger on my wish list (though I wouldn't say "No" to any of them), this bronze rondel looks so freaking cool to me, just sleek and murdery! I think the swiss Holbein is the predecessor to the SS daggers, they look quite similar. EDIT: Yep, another thing the Nazis stole.
The Tod dagger is based on a description in a book, same Holbein as originator, but different dagger.

I ask because I wanted to know, how much does it cost you to import from the UK. For me you can add like 50% to the prices on Tods website now since the UK left the EU.... So it's a non issue for me if I like Tods work unfortunately.
BTW, that Holbein dagger looks like it belongs in Skyrim... Yeah, located in the US. Never had to pay an import fee for any of his items, just the s&h. Most I paid for that was about $120-ish for one of his crossbows, if I remember correctly. Normally it's just like $30-$50-ish when I get his daggers. An additional import fee would definitely hold me back if that were the case. In regards to the Holbein, I always thought it looked like something out of Warhammer40K myself. I can totally see a commissar carrying something like that.
