This actually happened to my VA warder about three years ago as well. Maybe it was the same run. I still have to pics. He got me a new sword pretty immediately so I wasn't too bummed. Mine also broke on bottles.

I have recently had the pleasure of experiencing mat cutting and wanted to toss my second session so far on here. I'm attempting to clear freestyle grade 2 in this one.

I like the polish and hamon on my choji a great amount. It is white polished above the hamon. The demo budo I have was just given a cleanup polish after testing and is strictly functional polish that I purchased knowingly. Best polish I have had was on lion dog but it scratched badly and noticeably in any cutting.

I sold the collection because I own to cut and with the 4 I only used the others like twice just because I felt bad for them on the wall so ended up passing them on. I had used them extensively before that time though. Of them lion dog and wiwingti kokat were my fav pre

Err forgot to say, it has apple seed edge. It's not remotely a flat grind, perfectly swell niku, just better total geometry

^this. I have the demo budo which went through hell and back and i have cut excessively with it for about 6 months on plastics that chipped many of my earlier swords; it is without damage and static empty sharp still. I've never cut cardboard though so I cant comment on that. My multiple other also damageless/sharp. I had 13 high quality swords before my first including a tori xl, bamboo mat, lion dog, wiwingti kokat(i do kinda miss that one) etc. Sold em all to get and stick with my current 4 . Great service, price, performance, quality, cutttttiiiiiiiinnnnngggg. Thumbs up Ricky.

I agree it is time. Just built a stand for it too. And got a static on reverse cut!

Tried paper double cuts. Slight shades of success on first and last in vid.

Waist torsion through the cut also helps the slice action, says this observer.

Thanks! I couldn't even wager a guess as to how many I have cut. Extremely hard plastics. I do know that I have had many swords dull by this point let alone paper shredding. Really love these blades! Might step up to first tatami soonish I hope.

I've actually done obscene amounts of cutting with this one and it is remarkably scratchless. I hear you though, i barely touch my choji budo cause it is so prrrdy.
